U.S. Representative Henry Cuellar of Texas was carjacked by three armed attackers near the Capitol on Monday night.
However, he is back at work and unharmed.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. at New Jersey Avenue and K Street SE in Washington’s Navy Yard area, about a mile from the U.S. Capitol
The U.S. Capitol Police issued a statement saying they were working to find the carjackers and were being assisted by the Metropolitan Police Department and the FBI.
