American Boeing 787 Dreamliner to Miami Suffers Loss of Cabin Pressure

An American Boeing 787 Dreamliner, registration N816AA, performing flight AA-912 from Santiago (Chile) to Miami (USA), suffered a loss of cabin pressure while en route at FL360 about 160nm north-northwest of Santiago. The crew initiated an emergency descent and levelled off at 9000 feet about 5 minutes later. The aircraft returned to Santiago for a safe landing on runway 17R about 75 minutes after departure. The flight was cancelled.
